Eight yachts took to Newcastle Harbour in perfect weather conditions for a great day of sailing and racing in the inaugural HMRI Cup.

Crew on the yachts enjoyed learning the skills of sailing from experienced sailors from the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club who kindly donated their yachts and time for the race.

The day raised just under $10,000! What a great result for our researchers!
