Without volunteers, many aspects of health and medical research simply cannot happen.
It is International Volunteers Day, and HMRI is taking the opportunity to thank all the volunteers who donate their time and skills to help our researchers.
In this video, HMRI and University of Newcastle asthma researcher Dr Hayley Scott tells why health and medical research volunteers are so important.
With your help, HMRI researchers are developing better cures, treatments and preventions for diseases that can affect all of us.
Thank you!
