HMRI is looking for 10 outstanding photographs to form the next ‘Through the Lens’ exhibition.
HMRI affiliated health and medical researchers are each invited to submit outstanding digital media photographs that reflect their research.
Closing date is 5pm, 31 March 2010.

Prizes will be awarded for the best 10 entries.
First Prize:
The competition winner of HMRI ‘Through the Lens’ will receive:
- 1 night accommodation at any Rydges resort
- HMRI nomination to the Olympus International Bioscapes Competition
- an exhibition quality framed print of their photograph and have their photograph framed and installed in the new HMRI Building.
The nine other finalists will win four complimentary Movie Tickets to any Greater Union Cinemas and a framed copy of their image from the HMRI ‘Through the Lens’ exhibition.
The competition prizes are courtesy of HMRI supporter Greater Union Cinemas.
HMRI ‘Through the Lens’ exhibition will commence at Wallsend District Library from 28 May 2010 to correspond with National Medical Research Week, before moving to the JHH/RNC Arts for Health Galleries later in the year.
